Life is The Busy

I was pretty engrossed in studying until a couple of weeks ago. When I went to take my test, they told me I wasn't on the roster. Apparently, I didn't finish all of the steps to reschedule even though I thought I did. I thought I rescheduled and didn't think about it again. Like, I didn't think to look for my confirmation email. My own fault. So now, I'm not thinking of the test until after the wedding. Not starting school in the Fall means we have much more flexibility on when we take our Honeymoon.

We had a lovely visit from Anna. She lives in Eugene, Oregon and teaches at a school where you learn how to build bicycles. We hadn't seen each other in 3 years. It was really good to catch up.

We are now wrapping up loose ends re: The Wedding. I got my eyebrows waxed today and have my make-up consultation tomorrow. Jenn & Cameron got into Seattle on Saturday and spent the night with us. Mom & Paul got in today and we had dinner at Elysian.

Last Friday, I woke up to a sore back. I slept in a weird position Thursday night and have been in pain since. Ow! It has been so bad that I had my prescription for Tylenol 3 filled. Jenn has been a goddess and has been rubbing my back daily. I am so done with this pain!

I am very excited to see lots of family & friends this upcoming week. Our wedding is going to be so much fun!

Prioritizing tasks

It is crunch time right now and I'm feeling it. I can get everything accomplished. At least, that's what I have to tell myself everyday.

I may be absent even more than I have been as of late. Gotta focus!

Birthday Boys and Family Reunion

Life has been keeping us very busy. Last Thursday, Tony & I got on a jet plane and flew to Pennsylvania for a family reunion. On our flight out, we met up with Jenn & Cameron in Dallas where we changed flights. We started out on Friday in Philadelphia with a lovely lunch with Howard, our far-away 'boss' at work. After lunch, we started on the long drive to the small town of DuBois where we met up with Dad, Carolyn, cousin Steve and his wife, Doreen for dinner at the hotel. On Saturday, we went to a picnic at cousin Cindy's farm. Tony just couldn't get over how beautiful it was out there. Sunday morning, we loaded everything up and drove to Lock Haven to the official Hanna Family Reunion. This reunion has been going for 70 years! I've been to 4 in my lifetime. The Hanna Family is pretty large - 5 generations with about 460 relatives. My grandma was the 9th child in a family with 11 children which explains why the family is so large. It was really good to see so many relatives that i hadn't seen in some time. We all had a really good time. Thanks again to Dad & Carolyn for making the trip happen for us! Check out the photos here
