This city smells. L.A., that is. It's my last day here and I've got far too much to do to be sitting down at my computer, but a woman has got to eat sometime.
I woke up this morning to the sound of kids playing outside. My head is screaming at me for some unknown reason - that is not a good way to start the day. Since I'm lacking food, refridgerator and coffee, I throw on some clothes and walk down to my local coffee shop to grab a cup of joe and a scone. It's a hazy day out and very stinky as usual. As I walk, I try not to think about my sock that is quickly scrunching up in my shoe. I ponder what I will miss about this city. I've had some fun times for sure and met many wonderful people. It's my peeps that I am going to miss the most.
Last night, Doug, Lyssa, F, Wayne and I drove down to a club in Long Beach. It was a fun time had by all. It was hard to say goodbye when they left. It really hasn't hit me that I am not going to see them again for many months. I know I'll be missing them fiercely when I'm up in Seattle. Well, not really Wayne. I don't know him very well. Heh.
*sigh* It's 11:30. Gotta get up off my ass and get shit done. Leaving tomorrow.
